Welcome to Studio 19 Nashville.
Studio 19, which opened under the name of Music City Recorders in the early 1960's, has seen artists such as Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson begin their recording careers in our big room. Ringo Starr also recorded his "Beaucoup of Blues" album here. Others like Dolly Parton, Allison Krauss, John Wayne (believe it or not) are among many various artists that have recorded projects here throughout the years.
Scotty Moore, Elvis' guitar player, was one of a group of owners who bought the studio in 1964. Scotty operated the studio until 1975 when it was sold again. The current owners, Larry Rogers and Pat Brewer, bought the studio in 1985. Larry has produced such artists as Ricky Nelson, Brother Jack McDuff, Mel McDaniel, Charly McClain, and Billy Swan.tu
